Howdy team,
Spent the better part of a week or so "working" at the Keepsafe on my character, and I have to say that the experience was a bit disheartening in its current state. People tend to be very objective driven, point A to point B with very little time to sit and chat at these places of employment. I was making a very active effort to engage other players, but most people just wanted to interact with the teller, and get back to their business. I am sure it will be much the same for other professions as well, I at least had the benefit of occasionally having people come out that way, but even then, there was a lot of down time my character was getting paid, but unable to advance beyond that, leaving my time feeling wasted.
While I do not think we want an environment where there are large amounts of people just AFK farming at their jobs, I do think there needs to be some trickle of experience gain to supplement that time where they might not be getting XP ticks. There needs to be some kind of middle ground that can be found.
The pay was similarly pretty mediocre, now I understand they have virtually no upkeep, and we don't know how housing is going to be priced, and we shouldn't directly compare it to adventuring for a multitude of factors, but it might be worthwhile to revisit the wages once the further systems are implemented and or reworked.
Thank you for your time.
