As it currently functions, the command provides the number of players inside Murann, Trademeet and "out adventuring" (which means basically anywhere else); the other two locations, Vergeborg Haven and Brost, are currently inaccessible or gatekept for the majority of playerbase. Additionally, the "in or around Trademeet" part is misleading: Trademeet itself sits inside a single location and the neighboring locations are not considered by the system. Observing which Murann districts except the Thoroughfare are included in the count is difficult due to high traffic.
Limiting meta-information provided by the system is in the server's best interest, obviously. However, as I understand it, the feature is there for those who wish to be found and interacted with. As such, the best candidates for expansion would be the inns and other establishments, especially in the less-frequented districts of Murann or outside of it. Some examples:
- The Wayrest Inn
- The Laughing Wolf
- The Swinging Berth
- The Low Dog
- The Riptide
- The Gilded Thread, Ordin's Bellows, Furrowed Brow, Knight in the Morn, Strings and Things and other places with active player service.
Additional candidates might be safe, inhabited places in the world where one might loiter or expect travelers to pass through, such as Dhalan and Ghallar villages and Bormul Grounds.
