Poems recited by the brown haired poet at the Muranni taverns.
The Ballad of the Daring Five
The Ballad of the Daring Five
Heed my words o lovely maiden
Hear a tale of daring do
'Tis not a tale of myth nor fable
For I had witnessed with eyes duo
It is a tale of one dwarf Stalwart
And of a deadly elven Sting
With but a touch o' Floater's magic
And the Hammer's stoic shield.
Yet let us not forget the fury
Strong armed tribesman's blowing force
And his lifelong proud companion
The greatest Mustache from the North.
Dangers have they faced aplenty
Deep in tunnels foes that lurk
Felled the monstrous and the many
Blazing blades pushed back the dark
How the Stalwart stood so strongly
Held the Bugbear mass at bay
How the Hammer's shield had risen
That her friends can see another day.
How the Sting with lightning reflex
Danced, riposted and stung true
How the Mustache swung with fury
His mighty blade was painted goo
How the Floater's hand was nimble
To tend each wound with skill and care
Her own blade o' flying wonder
So their flank is not left bare.
Know their names and daring deed
Inspire be from souls so bold
When fame and fortune comes, do heed!
And pray they pay their bard some gold!
